Our projects

"Nigeria is a very rich country inhabited by many poor people," is how the Archbishop of Abuja, John Onaiyekan, described his homeland. In fact, Nigeria is one of the leading oil producers in Africa. But despite enormous revenues, the country is now one of the twenty poorest countries in the world. The money goes into the pockets of corrupt elites and big oil companies. The vast majority of the 170 million people in Africa's most populous country get nothing.

The foundation concentrates on the region of Imo and Abia State in south-eastern Nigeria. In addition, the foundation supports individual projects in Brazil, which are run by the local sisters of the Schoenstatt movement.

Numerous projects  have already been realized in recent years, but there is still a lot to do. Find out more about the ongoing projects and see where you can get active yourself!
